kath196, this product contains bisabolol & that is why is it not fragrance-free. When we rate products as ‘fragrance-free’, we truly mean that it contains no fragrances or allergy-causing botanicals, essential oils, or natural ingredients that are scented. Unfortunately, many companies put botanicals into their products and claim they are fragrance-free. They can get around this because the term "fragrance-free" has no legal definition nor FDA regulations. For more information about this topic, we have a really informative article in our Beauty Insider about this topic titled, The Truth About Fragrance in Skincare. https://www.skinsafeproducts.com/health-news/the-truth-about-fragrance-in-skincare
