I have often experienced dry lips but Aquaphor has helped me combat it so fast. However, last week I noticed some dryness slightly above my lip line so I thought why not use it there. Boy the whole skin got so tight and dry from this! I don’t know why but I’m taking a break from it right now.

I’ve got a vicious contact dermatitis issue going on with my face, especially my lips, and I’ve had chronic dry lips since childhood so I can’t go without lip balm. This is currently the ONLY lip balm OTC in the US I can use without my dermatitis worsening that actually feels like it adds moisture back. I can’t use the stick formula, I think because of the sunflower seed wax, but this one is miraculously non-irritating for me even when my lips are very bad. Additionally it’s got a nice balm texture, not overly glossy or oily, absorbs in just the right amount and can be used under or over lipstick.
