user1648916048, thank you for bringing this to our attention! We enter ingredients as they are listed on the label but sometimes miss information like this if they are on the brand's FAQ section or other areas on the website that aren't easily visible. It doesn't say which ingredient is related to gluten so the only thing we can do is enter "gluten" as an ingredient. This product is now rated as NOT gluten-free.

NIT GLUTEN FREE!!!! Please correct this. Their website clearly states: "Gluten is part of Batiste Dry Shampoo formulas and helps them work like magic." I had a terrible scalp reaction for months and finally figured out this is why. Please correct this because per this site is why I purchased. I should've done more research on my own but I've always trusted SkinSafe. Happy to remove this when you remove the GF Badge from their products. Thank you!

Hi - the gluten-free badge means the product is free of ADDED gluten and other wheat-related ingredients, including barley, rye, and oat. It's a rating of products for added gluten ingredients as disclosed by manufacturers. A manufacturer may not label their products as 'gluten-free' because the products are processed on 'shared equipment' with possible cross contamination and cannot confirm that their products are free from any traces of gluten.
