I was using the Vanicream ceramide moisturizer but after a couple of months I was getting redness and acne so I went back to my old moisturizer La Roche Posay Toleriane Ultra which unfortunately doesn’t have ceramides. I was excited to try this CLn moisturizer because it does have ceramides, but nervous that it may nit agree with me since the formula is very similar to Vanicream. I’ve been using it a week now and so far so good. It doesn’t have the sunscreen-like smell that Vanicream has and it doesn’t have hyaluronic acid (which I suspect is irritating to me over time). It has greatly reduced redness and my skin looks better. However, while it goes on very thick and rich, it disappears completely and leaves my skin feeling dry. I’ve been mixing it with the Toleriane Ultra which and together they’re great. I get the high level, long lasting moisture of the Toleriane plus the ceramides and other healing benefits of the CLn. I just wish it was moisturizing enough to use on its own. (Allergies:vitamin e, linalool/fragrance) 3/4/22
