Formula has changed.
I purchased January of 2025 is different than what is listed on Skin Safe site. The formula now contains Glyceryl Rosinate, Synthetic Wax, C11-13 Iso Parafin and a few other ingredients. With my allergy to Propolis these are possible allergens for me as well.
I have only worn this mascara one time for a full day and removed using La Roche-Posay Respectissime Eye Makeup Remover. I have had no allergic reaction as of yet.
I like how it doesn't weigh down and straighten my lashes after I curl them. I wiped excess off the wand to control any clumping and was able to get smooth application. It is a waterproof formula, so it doesn't smudge, and I think keeps any irritating ingredients off my skin.
I am hopeful this mascara will work for me. It is very hard to find a mascara that is safe for propolis allergy.

I have extremely sensitive eyes and have been using this mascara for years. I opened a new one yesterday and my eyes have been irritated and burning. I thought it was the sunscreen product that I use on my face getting too close to my eyes. Nope! I didn’t apply sunscreen product today, same irritation and burning today using the mascara. It’s the new tube of mascara! It has a very strong chemical smell. Maybe they changed the formulation? Gotta go wash my face! Can’t stand the burning for a second day!!! Be very careful if you have sensitive eyes!!!
