After two years of buying and using this soap, the last couple of bars had a sharp and unpleasant smell. With late-in-life, recently-developed skin allergies, I am careful about the products I use, matching ingredients to the SkinSafe Products website. Am both sad, and reassured, to read others' pen similar reviews on Amazon recently. At first, I thought it was just me that detected this sharp, unpleasant smell. Hunting now for a new bar soap, though may try this soap again next year to see if it was just a bad batch that I and a few others purchased.

I received this it said fragrance free but I smell a fragrance. I tried it on my hand it felt drying and next day my hand were slightly itchy. I asked my husband and he could smell a fragrance i is not srong but any fragrance bothers me

I’ve been using this for a year now and I love this soap. “Safe For Me,” of course, it lathers and cleans well. Best of all, my skin is very smooth and supple. I use a loofah cloth. In So. Cal, I’ve found it at Sprouts. Highly recommend!
