I used it twice on holiday and got the worst rash I've ever had, which still prevails a week later.

This was on “safe for me” list but Acrylates/octylacrylamide copolymers is not safe for allergy to methyl acrylate.

Once I see any of the benzones listed I rule it out. Same with any glucosides.

Although skin safe told me this was safe for me it was not. I had a horrible reaction and had to go to emergency room for treatment. My skin itched so badly that if I compared it to pain it would have been a 10. After 4 injections and 5 hours at the hospital, I finally got some relief.

Thank you. I’m not sure I understand. Is avobenzone not cross reactive to benzophone 3? Are they not the same thing?

Is avobenzone similar to benzophenone 3? Aren’t they part of the same family? If I’m allergic to benzophenone 3, aren’t I also allergic to avobenzone?

Nope. The app says “safe for me” but my arms broke out. Sigh.
Hang tight. We're thinking.
