What is it?
Rhodium (lll) chloride hydrate is a marker for rhodium contact allergy. It is contained in many precious metal alloys.
How can I avoid it?
Skin exposure to rhodium (lll) chloride hydrate is required for it to cause a rash. You should avoid contact with this substance. Avoidance requires reading labels, Safety Data sheets (SDS) and on occasion, direct communication with the manufacturer.
